VIDEO REMOTE INTERPRETING

For virtual meetings, events & one-on-ones.

Immediate communication and connection; put a virtual interpreter right in the room, right when you need it.

WHAT IS VIRTUAL/REMOTE VIDEO INTERPRETING?

Video Remote Interpreting uses the same web-based technology that allows virtual meetings, with the addition of an experienced sign language interpreter participating from a remote location. The hearing and deaf participants can be together in the same room or they can each log in remotely — in either case, they just need a webcam and high-speed internet access.

Our interpreters are equipped with webcams, software and headsets that enable them to see and be seen by all parties. They listen intently and accurately interpret both spoken word and sign language back and forth so everybody is included and understood. The service is available on demand, allowing real-time conversation between all participants in one-on-one appointments, training events, team meetings, and more.

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH VIDEO REMOTE INTERPRETING (VRI)

VRI uses virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or WebEx, in conjunction with an experienced sing language interpreter. The hearing and Deaf participants can be together at the same location or they can log in remotely from different locations—in either case, they just need a webcam and high-speed internet access.
